INSIDE BIOCODE
PREMIUM ACTIVE INGREDIENTS
with proven effectiveness
Active ingredients used in the formulation of skin care products are ingredients that are specifically designed to target a specific problem. They must demonstrate through specific effectiveness tests that they have a direct beneficial effect on the assumed areas or objectives.
CLINICAL GRADE FORMULATION
In the formulation of cosmetic products it is essential to carry out a rigorous selection of active ingredients and we must take into account that these choices significantly influence not only the health, but also the appearance of the skin. We are constantly working to develop new formulations that exceed existing standards of effectiveness.
FRAGRANCE
FREE
For a skin care product to be truly fragrance-free, the formula must be free of volatile fragrance ingredients, including those of synthetic or natural variety. Essential oils are no exception to this rule. While many essential oils and fragrant plant extracts can provide some benefit to the skin, their volatility as they release their aroma also has a negative effect on the skin.

HACT 193
It is a unique active ingredient that encapsulates liposomal hyaluronic acid encapsulated in ceramide liposomes and squalane.
The active has a remarkable compatibility with the skin, providing extreme hydration, firmness and anti-radical action.
HYALURONIC ACID
Hyaluronic acid is a substance naturally present in the body, belonging to the class of glycosaminoglycans (GAG).
With a low molecular weight, hyaluronic acid together with the specific solvent facilitates penetration into the deep layers of the skin, has a remarkable ability to retain moisture, being able to absorb water in proportion to more than 1000 times its volume and has high viscoelasticity.
In the extracellular matrix of the skin, hyaluronic acid and other sulfated GAGs, combined with collagen and elastin, maintain a significant amount of water.
Young skin, characterized by smoothness and elasticity, contains a significant amount of hyaluronic acid.
However, as we age, the skin’s ability to produce hyaluronic acid decreases and its ability to retain water declines, leading to skin that is drier, thinner, and less able to regenerate.
Dry skin, which shows reduced elasticity, requires an additional intake of hyaluronic acid.
SQUALAN
Squalane is a natural substance derived from various plants and is a component of human sebum.
The human body produces it naturally in small quantities. Maximum production occurs in the first years of life and decreases rapidly after the age of thirty.
Squalane has many proven beneficial properties on the skin: healing cracked skin, supporting moisture retention, regenerating the skin’s natural oils, stimulating cell regeneration and oxygenation, creating a protective barrier against wind, dust and pollution, reducing the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, providing comfort for dehydrated and ultra-sensitive skin, softening rough and textured skin without leaving greasy residue.
It has also proven useful in counteracting conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, sun damage and post-operative skin healing.
CERAMIDES
Ceramides are key molecules in the epidermis and are essential for maintaining the moisture and integrity of the skin barrier. They ensure the cohesion of corneocytes and play a crucial role in the barrier function of the skin.
The outer layer of the skin, known as the stratum corneum, is composed of flattened corneocytes surrounded by double lamellar layers composed of ceramides, cholesterol and free fatty acids. This structure provides protection against rapid dehydration of the skin.
All these elements of great importance for the skin are combined in a unique system in the form of liposomes, active ingredients with a structure similar to the biological membrane.
This structure allows increased penetration into the deeper layers of the skin, maximising the benefits of these ingredients for skin health and appearance.
PANTHENOL
Panthenol, also known as provitamin B5, is a versatile and commonly found active ingredient in cosmetics and personal care products. This compound has a significant positive impact on skin health due to its moisturising and soothing properties.
Panthenol is recognised for its moisture retaining, soothing and regenerating capabilities for skin.
DEEP HYDRATION
Panthenol acts as an excellent hydrating agent, with the ability to attract and retain moisture in the upper layers of the skin. Helps to retain moisture and prevent dehydration.
SOOTHING EFFECT
Panthenol has anti-inflammatory and soothing properties. It is often used to soothe skin irritations and reduce burning or discomfort after sun exposure, waxing or other external aggressions.
REGENERATES THE SKIN
This active ingredient supports the natural regeneration process of skin cells, helping minor injuries such as cuts and scrapes heal faster. Helps reduce scarring and improve skin texture.
COMPATIBILITY
Panthenol integrates well and is compatible with other ingredients used in the formulation of cosmetic products without causing adverse reactions or incompatibilities.
In conclusion, panthenol is a valuable ingredient used in the formulation of cosmetic products because of its ability to moisturise, soothe and promote skin regeneration.
By using products containing panthenol, you can benefit from its beneficial properties to achieve healthy and glowing skin.

BLF 9
The serum formula includes this innovative active ingredient, which has been confirmed to have a visible film-forming and tightening impact, according to the results of efficacy studies conducted in vivo.
Thanks to its three-dimensional structure, this ingredient adapts harmoniously to the skin’s surface, generating a continuous biological film that provides a lifting effect.
These results are reflected in a smoothing effect on the skin, contributing to a firmer and brighter appearance.
With the aging process, significant changes in facial appearance include sagging skin.
The mechanism responsible for this phenomenon is associated with decreased skin elasticity, the influence of gravity, degradation of collagen fibres (responsible for structural stability) and damage to elastin fibres (responsible for elasticity).
High molecular weight polymers, such as proteins and polysaccharides, act as immediate skin tighteners, creating a protective film. This film induces retraction of the corneal layer, thus generating a lifting effect.
Results include an immediate tightening and wrinkle-reducing effect, with a visible lifting effect within 30 minutes.
HYPERLIFT CREATES A CONTINUOUS AND COHESIVE BIOLOGICAL FILM, WHICH CONTRIBUTES TO:
REDUCTION OF TRANSEPIDERMAL WATER LOSS (TEWL). THE FACTOR RESPONSIBLE FOR TRIGGERING PREMATURE AGING OF THE SKIN.
MAINTAINING THE OPTIMAL LEVEL OF HYDRATION.
PROTECTING THE SKIN AGAINST ENVIRONMENTAL STRESS AND POLLUTION.
EFFICACY TESTS CARRIED OUT IN VIVO ENVIRONMENT SHOWED:
IMMEDIATE LIFTING EFFECT.
REDUCTION BY 47% OF THE WRINKLE DEPTH AT T=1H.
REDUCTION BY 29% OF THE ROUGHNESS OF WRINKLES AROUND THE EYES AT T=1H.
REDUCTION BY 36% OF THE VOLUME OF WRINKLES AROUND THE EYES AT T=1H.
AMA 369
Amino acids are essential components for the skin, the human body and its biological processes. So it’s no surprise that they play a vital role in repairing and rejuvenating skin affected by sun damage, acne, chemical peels and laser treatments.
Keeping them in your skincare routine is essential to maintaining a youthful appearance for as long as possible. Doctors and estheticians have the difficult task of deciding which peptides (combinations of amino acids), protein supplements (including the famous collagen) and growth factors (complex chains of amino acids) are most effective for skin health.
It is important to emphasize the complexity of the skin, which makes it sensitive to the lack or excess of essential substances. The rule applies to both skin maintenance and repair.
In each year of adult life, circulation in skin decreases by about one percent.
By the age of 50, the skin receives about 25% less nutrients, which affects the production of collagen and elastin.
Collagen is made up of proline, lysine and glycine. Elastin uses the same structure, as well as valine and alanine.
The most important amino acids for skin health, ordered according to their importance to the skin, based on the amounts found in human skin, are: lysine, proline, alanine, glutamic acid, arginine, serine, threonine.
FREE AMINO ACID COMPOSITION OF NMF
